Overview

Mattias Wittgren brings extensive experience in business law, where he provides specialized advice on real estate-related issues, particularly for complex construction and ongoing property projects. Mattias’ practice involves dealing with complex issues in major construction projects, including issues relating to contractor responsibility and working conditions; contract drafting and negotiations; and procurement of services. He also holds courses in contracting and consultancy law.

Mattias assists clients with ongoing legal review of tender documents, while providing general advice on LOU in collaboration with other firm partners. Mattias has also acted as a processing agent in a number of very large disputes in both public court and arbitration.

Drafted, reviewed, and prepared contracts involving AF parts for various clients, including some of the largest property owners in Sweden.

Provided construction legal support on a number of transfers of ongoing projects, concerning the construction of Stockholm Waterfront and the Triangle in Malmö, among others.
Reviewed tender documents for procurement of Norra Länken, Mälarbanan, Förbifart Stockholm and Citybanan, among others.
Provided ongoing advice for many major construction projects, including Västkustbanan, Botniabanan, Ådalsbanan, Norra Länken, Citybanan, Förbifart Stockholm, Stockholm Waterfront, Urban Escape, Mall of Scandinavia and Vänernbanan.
Counseled clients in a number of arbitration cases regarding construction management.
Counseled clients in a number of major construction disputes concerning billions of SEK.
Defended the contractor in the construction dispute between Kista Galleria and Skanska.
Defended client in general court regarding two partial contractors in the project Södra Länken.
Advised clients in various types of contract law and contractual or administrative matters.
Provided legal support to contracting authorities on several comprehensive agreements concerning public procurements of contracts.
